Individual therapy

Weekly or fortnightly sessions with one therapist who knows your history — not a rotating cast, and not a model chosen because it’s the only one on offer.

Length

50 minutes

Rhythm

Weekly or Fortnightly

Where

In person or online

Fee

£120

Most people who come to us start here. You’ll be matched with the therapist whose training fits what you’re bringing – not simply whoever has a gap in the diary that week.

On the initial free call we agree the likely approach together: that might be psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, compassion-focused work, EMDR, or a blend that shifts as the work does. We’ll say plainly if we think a structured programme would serve you better and explain clearly how the different therapies work, their similarities and differences.

There’s no fixed number of sessions. Some people come for six with a clear focus; others stay a year or more. We review together every few months so continuing is always an active choice rather than a default.

THIS IS OFTEN A GOOD FIT IF

You want to understand a pattern rather than only manage a sympton

You've had therapy before that felt too shallow or too rigid

Something specific has happened, or something long-standing has resurfaced

You'd rather work with one person over time than move between services

How it runs

Free call

Twenty minutes to check the fit and agree who you'd work with.

First two sessions

Getting the history and building a shared picture of what's going on.

The work

Weekly or fortnightly, with a review every few months.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a specific form of trauma therapy that can help the brain process experiences that still feel emotionally or physically ‘stuck’.

Graduate programme

We run a graduate programme every week, an opportunity to have that back up after an intensive piece of therapy has finished so to. Because finishing therapy doesn’t mean you stop being human.

Individual therapy

One-to-one work with a senior clinician, matched to you rather than to whoever has a gap. We agree the approach together on the first call and review it as we go.

Individual DBT Therapy

One-to-one work with a senior clinician, matched to you rather than to whoever has a gap. We agree the approach together on the first call and review it as we go.

Full DBT programme

The complete, adherent DBT model: weekly individual therapy, a skills group, between-session phone coaching and a consult team behind your therapist. Run in intakes so groups start together.

DBT-Informed Groups

Skills-only groups for people who want the practical tools - distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness - without the full commitment.

Trauma therapy, including EMDR

For single-incident trauma and for the longer, more tangled kind. Paced carefully, with stabilisation first - we won't rush you into processing before you're ready.

Neurodivergent-Informed Therapy

Every therapist here adapts as standard: sensory needs, processing time, written summaries, sessions can be recorded to be reviewed afterwards, walking sessions. You shouldn't have to mask to get therapy.

Family & parent work

Support for the people around someone who's struggling - including parents of teenagers, and DBT skills for families.
